Amaka Gift is a gospel music minister, public speaker and a ceremonial presenter. Born on the 28th of August and hails from Imo State, Nigeria. She is armed with a melodious voice and awesome talent. A prospective Nurse from Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka, Anambra State, she has moved a step ahead with Forensic Science from Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State.

I'm very excited and encouraged to see Imo bloggers creating gospel music site, radio presenters, and circular artist singing and making gospel songs. My elders in the ministry making gospel music are now working hard and being recognized, talked about on social media and nominated for awards. Even show players are making plans to visit the studio and professionalize their career in music.
My grace is like that of Mercy Chinwo, she arrived Nigerian gospel music industry in 2017 and till date has remained the flag bearer in the music ministry, her arrival motivated the pioneers of Nigerian gospel music to pick up the cross and follow Jesus. Now likes of Franks Edwards are making promo and giving out cash to propagate the gospel through their new songs, Sinach and the rest are hosting concerts, making international collaboration and going on tours. Jesus is Lord.
I want to appreciate God for making me a tool He uses to ignite the passion of my brethren in the ministry to carry out the work of our father here in Imo State and beyond. I pray to the almighty God through Jesus Christ our Lord to bring each and every one of us, our audience to the hearing of our songs and to the glory of his name. Amen.

Tupac Amaru - The Most Influential Music Rapper
Last month on September 13 was a memorial day for one of the world's most influential rapper of all time Lesane Parish Crooks "Tupac Amaru" better known by his stage name as 2Pac Shakur and Makaveli. It was the day when he passed on to the after life. He was born on June 16, 1971 and died on September 13, 1996. He was shot on the 7th of September 1996 by some unknown drive-by gunmen outside a sport centre after he had finished watching the boxer Mike Tyson fight Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada U.S.A which later led to his death six days later on the 13th.
He was also an activist, poet, actor, record producer and song writer.
As of 2007, Shakur has sold over 75 million records worldwide even after his demise. His double disc albums All Eyez on Me and his Greatest Hits are among the best selling albums in the United States. He has also been listed and ranked as one of the greatest artists of all time by many magazines, including Rolling Stone which ranked him 86th on its list of The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
The themes of most of Shakur's songs revolved around the violence and hardship in inner cities, racism, and other social problems. Both of his parents and several other people in his family were members of the Black Panther Party, whose ideals were reflected in his songs. During the latter part of his career, Shakur was a vocal participant during the East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry, becoming involved in conflicts with other rappers, producers, and record-label staff members, most notably The Notorious B.I.G. and the label Bad Boy Records.
Shakur's love of theatre and Shakespeare also influenced his work. A student of the Baltimore School for Arts where he studied Theatre, Shakur understood the Shakespearian psychology of inter-gang wars and inter-cultural conflict.
His memory and legacy will always be remembered...
