"Healer" is often a spiritual profession best described in its true sense mostly in Europe, America and a couple of other spiritually motivated nations of the world.
In an African sense, "Healers" are often not as identified as their counterparts in other continents as most of them are discovered to either be Pastors, Motivational Speakers, Counselors or rarely, practicing psychologists. However, I chose to celebrate a kind I consider a real "African Healer". One who independently brings peaceful inspiration to broken souls. She is deep with insights, hence an awakened soul seeking to ignite the fire of her divine connection to the human race, especially for the less privileged who survive through the empathetic kindness of people like Amaka Gift.

Amaka Gift is a fast rising gospel singer, Public Speaker and a ceremonial presenter. She has till date held speaking sessions in selected primary schools, as she continues to draw plans of visiting many more where she hopes to take the gospel to the light bearers of future generations.
She is a devoted Christian and a prospective Nurse. She arrived last, in a family of 8 who hails from Mbaise, in IMO State Nigeria.

Join the light, as she extends open arms of love with the children at the orphanage to mark her birthday. we celebrate with Amaka Gift as she celebrates her divine birthday on the 28th of August. She refuse telling us her age anyway. ??
See some photos of our "African Healer" She has taken me straight to the deep, feel free to follow her on social network @RealAmakaGift.
Happy birthday Amaka Gift.

The movie project had a story line that involved betrayal of trust, sexual escapades, greed and an eventual discovery of treasure which triggered the excesses of human malevolence until the laws of power were applied to eliminate the relevance of one another thus an application of the Machiavellian law of the survival of the fittest,

However, while the movie project was underway, the appointed Executive Producers succeeded in negotiating for the sum of 5 million naira with a reputable business house. Suddenly the synopses of the movie project broke loose and flooded out into real life, thus submerging the crew of the Movie Project in real time. The news of the 5 million naira deal triggered the betrayal of trust… and even threats to human lives were sustained, until things fell apart and the center could no longer hold.

The truth was that the movie project reflected the crew’s actual characteristics in which each crew member deposited himself in the contrast of THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE UGLY.

The director went on his way to have a soiree of sexual paradise with his actor- girl-friend rather openly and this undermined the whole project, as his bad manners and bad attitude contributed to the lack of harmony between the Executive Producers, the entire crew and himself.  Out of frustration the director went all out to extort money from unsuspecting prospective actors, which was uncalled for in the name of a MOVIE ACADEMY.

The Executive Producers who succeeded in striking a 5 million naira deal  with a reputable company apropos the sponsorship of the movie project, out of greed decided to bring in their own ad hoc movie company to oversee all others or possibly out-Herod Herod,  including the otherwise pitiable director who initiated the Movie Project. And they were all hell bent on the principles of Machiavelli or perhaps a coup de grace.

The Media and Publicity Manager decided to suspend the website and all related social networks of the Movie Project, when he found out that everything had gone messy, and also had nothing to gain from the activity, and for the fact that he had not been paid.

The Movie Project had two script writers. One was a professional and an already published writer, while the other could hardly wield the pen. The unprofessional one was the director’s brother and he had strong misunderstandings with the professional script writer. The unprofessional script writer advocated for a diluted story hypothesis while the professional script writer advocated for the concentrated story theory. The professional script writer however deliberately kept mute when his theory of concentration was nipped in the bud at every stage by the unworthy rival. And this invariably made the Movie Project to advance at a snail speed.

The professional script writer was willing to work even when he was denied acknowledgement from the first printed samples. The unprofessional script writer was more willing to kill characters than he was willing to create them.

However, a journalist who was brought into the Movie Project by the Publicity Manager, went all out on his way to blackmail his good friends – the Publicity Manager, the Production Manager and the Professional Script Writer – by discrediting these people at their backs and joining hands with the movie director to continue the Movie Project using all fraudulent means at their joint disposal. This journalist is currently on the run as his conscience is no longer clear among the crew members. His name is Mmege.

One of the actors, a tall young man, acquired the video trailer of the initial footage in his phone, and succeeded in convincing a Business House to release a sum of one million naira on sponsoring the Movie Project. However this actor liaised with the production-manager-on-shooting schedule to run the deal on their own selfish ends, but the information leaked to the Whole House, The director on learning about this teamed up with them to cover the mess without ado. In fact the director forbade anyone from discussing the matter since this development had come into his custody.

The Production Manager on the Movie Project, who was also a gate crasher in movie management process, decided to HIJACK the whole project in his own imagined powers and manage it to make unseen millions.

Meantime all the viewers that came for auditioning are still watching spellbound, hoping for a miraculous rejuvenation of the Movie Project. However one or two truly benevolent veterans of the movie project have learnt bitter lessons, that “NAIJA NO DE CARRY LAST OOOO whether in good or in bad.”

                GOOD MORNING

Don't wake up and start frowning
Smile at the sun as hope comes dawning
There's no sorrow or an unexpected rain, expect all your pains to leave your domain I promise no more complains.
Let love lead the way,let peace paint your day, look around and make a change, your fingerprint could mark a heart, its not hard if you love, rather almost lose than almost win.

                                                                 -enjoy the day...

20 QUALITIES FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFE

  1. Sincerity. Be sincere in your actions. Don’t try to deceive or impress others. Be yourself, and do what you feel is right based on your values and beliefs. You will be surprised at how people accept you when you stop trying to be someone you aren't.

  2. Unfeigned. Be genuine in what you do; your actions speak louder than your words. Don’t falsify or embellish events that may have happened. Don’t say one thing and do the other.

  3. Wholehearted. Be enthusiastic about what you do. Show it. Be committed to life and everything that you set out to accomplish in life. Devote yourself to your family, friends, and community and commit yourself to being the best father, husband, wife, mother, friend, and neighbor you can be.

  4. Honest. Be honest in your dealings with yourself and with others. When others interact with you, let them see someone who is reputable, respectable and genuine. Do what you say you will do and never use fraud or deception to get ahead in life. Let ethics, morals, and honor be your compass.

  5. Heartfelt. When you do something for someone, or they do something for you, let your thanks and emotion be openly and outwardly expressed towards them.

  6. Hearty. Be someone who displays an honest, warm, and exuberant personality to those around them. Let your feelings show and let them be genuine when they do.

  7. Humility. Don’t lead a life thinking you are better than others or are superior to those around you. Modesty and humbleness will leave a far more ever lasting impact on people than trying to show off.

  8. Personal integrity. Always follow your heartfelt values, and never let a situation or anyone steer you away from doing what you know is right. Be someone that people can look up to and respect and not someone who trades his or her moral values for material gains in life.

  9. Incorruptibility. Let it be known that you stand firm for what you believe in and that your morals, values and actions are not for sale. Don’t let outside forces corrupt the person you are.

  10. Sound. Show good judgment and sense in life. Don’t let prejudices or emotions cloud your judgment.

  11. Whole. Be focused on what you want to achieve in life. Give everyone you interact with your complete and undivided attention.

  12. Courtesy. Practice good manners even though others around you may not.

  13. Civility. Graciousness and respect go a long way in life. What is more, they are viral – when people see you doing it they are more apt to practice civility themselves. Be kind to others and extend courtesy towards them. Don’t interrupt people when they speak and don’t dominate the conversation.

  14. Wisdom. Gain from the wisdom that is inside you. Understand the inner qualities of people and learn how to understand situations that might be different than we are used to.

  15. Charity. Practice kind, gentle, and compassionate treatment of others – especially those who may be undeserving. Learn to extend a hand to help others, even though they themselves may not have helped you.

  16. Empathy. Be aware that each person is different and may have different values and beliefs than those that you hold. Be understanding of the feelings and thoughts of others without having to be told or reminded of them.

  17. Sympathy. Share your feelings with others and understand the emotional situations that people go through. Put yourself in their shoes.

  18. Compassion. When someone is in distress, reach out with a genuine interest in helping alleviate their suffering.

  19. Altruism. Think of others without thinking of yourself. Do good things for people without expecting something in return for yourself.

  20. Magnanimous. Be generous in life. Give of your time, money and wisdom. Share with others so they can see the true joy and adventures of life themselves.
These are the qualities I think helps lead a person to life a successful life. Clearly everyone's views will differ, as they should. What are some qualities that you think define success in life? Comment with your answers so others will learn.

                                           SEEKING A DREAM

                            As you seek your dream,
you'll have hard times,
and you'll have great times.
The unexpected will arise
and stymie your steps,
but you'll overcome
each obstacle with
courage and dedication.
And you'll learn
with every mile you cross
and face the journey ahead
with greater confidence.
Even when you feel
lost in the clouds,
you'll find that
your dreams are still there,
and they'll give you the
strength and direction you need.
And you'll know that
you were never really lost
and never will be.

YOU CAN DO IT
You aren't the first to fall.
Everyone Did, no matter how successful,
suffers pain, loss,
and disappointment.
And no road to a dream is
smooth or paved in gold.
But some qualities separate
the winners from the losers:
the winners may not be smarter
or more talented,
but they have faith that
great things are ahead.
They stay calm when the
tempest beats at their shore.
They know that storms never last long,
and they don't let their dreams dissolve
beneath a bit of rain.
Don't give up!
You can do it!

FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Our happiness in this world depends
on the loving hearts
of our family and friends.
No amount of riches or worldly fame,
no stroke of luck or high acclaim
could ever possibly compare
to those who hold us close
in their thoughts and their prayers.
Nothing in the world
could do us more good
than knowing we're
accepted and understood.
And if we look closely, we're sure to find
that's it's those warm and loving hearts
that give us peace of mind.
They share our every joy
and weep with us through our sorrow,
and bring us hope when
we look to tomorrow.
And out of the lessons our
hearts must heed,
we should appreciate those who fill
our greatest needs;
for our happiness in life
surely depends
on the caring hearts
of our loved ones and friends.

Victor Moses

Written By Favour Ibex
This is the story of a young boy whose parents were murdered during 2002 riots in Kaduna. He was aged 11 years at the time. His parents, Mr Austine and Mrs Josephine Moses, were missionaries until they met their untimely death. The boy left his house to play football but returned home to see that all his parents had labored for had been razed down and he would never see his mother and father again.
He was taken to London by his uncle almost immediately after the incident. While in London, he began deploying his football skills. Though his parents were murdered, his passion for football was never killed. He played football for his school and later for a local Tandrige League club until Crystal Palace FC approached him. From that point, his career progressed in leaps and bounds.
This player played for England's under 16, 17, 19 and 21 teams between 2005 and 2010 scoring 11 goals for England during this period. He later moved to Wigan Athletic and now he plays for Chelsea. This footballer is called VICTOR MOSES.
His story is a touching one, I share his pains. I also share his courage. He had a choice not to step into Nigeria again but he didn't take that option. When the call to serve his fatherland came, Moses dumped England and embraced Nigeria... That is patriotism!
Today, we see a Victor Moses bringing joy to every Nigerian including those who may have inspired his parent's death... That is Love!
On Sunday, Moses would stand for the National Anthem and pledge allegiance to a country that couldn't defend his parents... That is faith!
Moses would deliver the "African Cup of Nations" trophy to Nigeria not minding what had happened in the past... That is forgiveness! Moses rose through bitterness and despair to the limelight of hope and courage.

He never gave up on his country. He persevered...That is purpose!
If someone like Victor Moses, despite the bitter past, never gave up on Nigeria, then why should we.
